Inventory Summary at Past Date

i'm unable to get old prices for selected past dated inventory summary of items as it is currently possible to see past dated inventory of any date selected.
I noticed this when auditors came around recently to check on our stocks. they need Past prices of items when past date is selected in report (Inventory Summary at Past Date).
With multi location business this will really come easy to manage business.
